Eine neue Version des weltbekannten Bloging-System WordPress ist erschienen. In der neuen Version 2.1 gibt es einige Neuerungen, ausserdem wird alleine schon, wegen den Sicherheitslücken aus der nahen Vergangenheit das Update empfohlen. Ich habe STE.ag schon upgedatet, und im laufe des Tages werde ich alle von mir gemanagten blogs Updaten. Probleme hatte ich keine… Einfach das WordPress herunterladen, in den Ordner schieben und die /wp-admin/upgrade.php ausführen. Thats it! Ein Plugin von meinen gefühlten 1,2 Mio musste ich Updaten, und zwar das Subscripte to Comments auf die Betaversion 2.1, die man hier bekommt. (Danke an Lawe für den Tipp) Bei Coolr.de habe ich auch einen Support Thread eingerichtet, Supportfragen bitte direkt hier rein – wir finden bestimmt eine Lösung für alle Probleme.

- Comment feeds now include all the comments, not just the last 10.
- Better internationalization and support for right-to-left languages.
- The upload manager lets you easily manage all your uploads pictures, video, and audio.
- A new version of the Akismet plugin is bundled.
